Hey GTRS-ians! It was another insightful Saturday on Live@Five, this time with our very own beloved Rev. Vincent Leoh. Co-hosting Live@Five for the first time with Ps Julie Khoo was Kenneth Koh who eased into the role effortlessly with his one liners as he got the crowd into a comfortable mood.
The talk show started off with a brief introduction of Ps Vincent as he briefly recalled his childhood days and how he got into the ministry. The hosts had a good time taking turns to throw friendly jibes at Ps. Vincent which he handled like a media pro. The show went on with a slideshow of Ps Vincent in his younger days, attending school and when he first started serving the Lord. The audience was treated to a visual menagerie of photos while Ps Vincent was left guessing how our talk show host managed to get a hold of those pictures; nevertheless our Pastor was a good sport - he laughed along with the crowd as he very professionally answered the questions prepared for him.
The crowd continued to give a rousing response as Ps Julie handed the service over to Ps Vincent for the sharing of the Word. The order of the day was referenced to the book of Ruth, reflecting on how we sometimes fail to trust God in our decisions although God is and has always been faithful to deliver us from our troubles. As the service drew to a close, many of those present responded to the altar call for prayer and ministering.
