What matters most to you in life?
This was the soul searching question posed by Ps. Gwen during this weekends Saturday Revival Service.
Could it be work, family, friends or even pleasures in life? Or is God your number one priority? As Christians, common knowledge is that God should take the highest priority in life but as our focus begins to shift ofset by the busyness of daily life routines coupled with chasing ambitions and aspirations, we tend to leave God at the wayside relegating Him below our worldly desires.
Luke 9:23 was the crux of this week’s message that when we chose to follow the Lord, we made a conscious decision to know Him, deny ourselves and take up our cross daily. Be reminded that there is no wrong in aiming for excellence, success and life’s riches but let’s not do it at the expense of our relationship with our Lord Jesus and waver in our walk with God in doing so.
As the word of God says in Matthew 6:33 ‘But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well’. (WEB Version)
In accordance to Matthew 6:19, let us not store our riches here on earth where moss and rust can destroy but let us store our riches in heaven where our eternal reward is. God should matter most in our lives.
As we go through our daily walk with God, let us ponder on those things that matter most to us, and which of these will ultimately lead us to eternity with God. Let us continue to press on and support each other in prayer. Be sure to be at Glad Tidings Revival Service next week to experience another awesome time in the presence of God. Can’t wait to see you there!

We should get stevie to perform the song!!!
