What matters most to you in life? that was the soul searching question put forward by Ps. Gwen on this week’s revival service. Is it your work?, family?, friends?, interests? or is God your number one priority?. We christians know that God should take the highest priority but as we get busy with our lives chasing our ambitions and aspirations we tend to leave God at the wayside relegating Him below our worldly desires. Luke chapter 9:23 was the crux of this week’s message that when we chose to follow the Lord, we made a decision to know Him, deny ourselves and take up our cross daily. There is absolutely nothing wrong in pursuing success and riches on this earth but let’s not do it at the expense of our relationship with our Lord Jesus. In accordance to Matt 6:19, let us not store our riches here on earth where moss and rust can destroy but let us store our riches in heaven where our eternal reward is. God should matter most in our lives.
